JUNE is Men's Health month

Men have a tendency to put off regular check-ups and medical care and they tend to drink more alcohol, smoke, and make unhealthy or risky choices. The good news is that men can start taking better care of themselves to improve and optimize their health.

Some of the ways that men can improve their health is by making sure they see their health provider and get the age specific screening tests and make sure they are up-to-date with with their immunizations.  Practicing healthy habits such as being physically active and eating healthy whole foods and reducing or eliminating alcohol, tobacco, and other chemicals. Men should also watch out for signs of health conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and depression. For more information on how men can take charge of their health, visit this link
